The Rotary Club of Hillsborough is proud to announce the availability of registration for the third annual memorial golf outing/fundraiser in honor of former Rotarian and founder of Central Jersey Nursery, Vince Lipani. Mr. Lipani passed away in July 2021, at the age of 81.
“Vince exemplified Rotary’s mission of community service, not only through his long tenure as a Rotarian, but through his service to our Township on the Board of Adjustment,” commented Troy Lipani, Vince’s son and Rotary Club of Hillsborough Board member in charge of the memorial golf outing.
“My father had a wide variety of interests and hobbies,” noted Troy Lipani, He was a fan of the NJ Devils, NY Giants and Mets, and an avid skier and golfer. A golf outing in his honor is a very appropriate way to pay homage to him, and to continue his legacy of community service.”
The Vince Lipani Memorial Golf Outing will be held on Monday, June 17, at the Royce Brook Golf Club, 201 Hamilton Rd. Hillsborough, NJ, beginning with an 11:00 AM registration, 1:00 PM shot gun start, followed by a 6 PM dinner. Fees begin at $110 for dinner only, $250 per individual golfer for both golf and diner and $920 for a foursome. A range of sponsorships are available ranging from $125 to $2,500.
Proceeds from the golf outing will be used by the Rotary Club of Hillsborough Foundation to support the Club’s charitable work, including an annual scholarship, named in Mr. Lipani’s honor.

Continuing one of its longest running annual traditions, the Rotary Club of Hillsborough distributed free thesauruses to Hillsborough and Manville third-graders this month, helping to ensure that these young will have easy access to a tool that will serve them well throughout their academic careers.
“The third graders and their teachers were genuinely excited and grateful to receive the thesauruses,” commented Ben Rozenblat, the Rotary Club of Hillsborough member responsible for organizing the project. “Rotarians across the country also participate in this important project, helping third-graders to access and appreciate the rich vocabulary of the English language.”
